The Journey from “What If I’m Wrong?” to “What If I’m Right?”

You get a new job offer.

Better salary.
Better role.
Maybe a better future.

But you hesitate.

What if I’m wrong?

What if the new company is not what I expect?

What if I leave my current job and regret it?

So you keep thinking.

And thinking.

And sometimes, you stay.

Not because you really want to.

But because you don’t want to make the wrong decision.

Now imagine you have a business idea.

You have been thinking about it for years.

You want to start.

But the same question comes back.

What if I’m wrong?

What if nobody buys?

What if I lose my money?

What if it doesn’t work?

And the idea stays an idea.

We experience the same thing in many parts of life.

Buying a house.

Changing careers.

Moving to another city.

Choosing a life partner.

Making an important decision for our family.

The question often comes first:

What if I’m wrong?

It is natural.

We want to protect ourselves.

We want to avoid pain.

We want to avoid regret.

So our attention goes towards everything that could go wrong.

But there is another question.

A question we don’t ask often enough.

What if I’m right?

What if the new job is exactly what you needed?

What if the business works?

What if the house becomes a wonderful place for your family?

What if moving to another city opens a new chapter in your life?

What if the decision you are afraid to make becomes one of the best decisions you ever made?

Nothing about the situation has changed.

But something has changed inside the decision.

The question has changed.

From:

What if I’m wrong?

To:

What if I’m right?

This does not remove uncertainty.

It does not remove risk.

But it gives you another way to look at the decision.

And perhaps that is where the journey begins.

Because important decisions are rarely made with complete certainty.

We have to decide while the future is still unknown.

The question is:

Can we learn to make those decisions with greater confidence?

We believe we can.

Confident decision-making is a skill.
Like any other skill, it can be learned.
